About Our Client
Our client is a small company that solves big problems - impacting National Security by bringing top Software Engineers and Technical Professionals to critical Intel & DoD programs. The Role
This role tackles the entire back-end of Big Data Cloud systems, from design and development to analysis and indexing. The ideal candidate is a team player with expertise in cloud computing, Hadoop, Java, and distributed systems. They'll use their knowledge to optimize performance, ensure efficient resource allocation, and contribute to the overall system design.
What You'll Bring
BS and 12+ yrs software engineering, 4+ in Big Data/Cloud (Hadoop, Distributed Computing); experience can substitute a degree.
Cloud technologies: MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Cloud infra (VMware/Multi-Node), Info Assurance (Firewalls)
Coding in Java (OOP), Scripting (Python/Bash/Ruby), Linux (CentOS)
Dev tools: IDE, Maven, RESTful APIs
Debugging (JVM, Java apps)
SIGINT experience (signal applications)
Configuration mgmt tools (Subversion, etc.)
Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer (a plus)
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, YOU MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
