The work, and what you'll do:
In essence, this position will require a skilled engineer with a deep understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, particularly those related to metal and dielectric deposition/etch, failure analysis, metrology, and advanced packaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both traditional and cutting-edge semiconductor technologies, including superconducting materials and advanced packaging techniques.
What you'll need:
- BS and 8+ years of experience in semiconductor fabrication, with expertise in areas like metal and dielectric deposition/etch, failure analysis, metrology, photolithography, advanced packaging, CMP, or product development.
- Experience fabricating superconducting devices and advanced packaging is a huge plus!
- In-depth knowledge of microelectronics/semiconductor fabrication and advanced packaging processes, including:
-- Physical/chemical vapor deposition, Dielectrics (including spin-on dielectrics)
-- Metals, Superconducting materials
-- Dry/wet etch processing, Photolithography
-- Failure analysis, Semiconductor metrology
-- CMP, FEOL/BEOL
-- Semiconductor product development, Process control and sustainment
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
