The work, and what you'll do:
This position requires a Controls Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of control system theory, experience with PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems, and excellent communication and technical skills.
What you'll need:
- BS in process/controls, electrical, mechanical, nuclear, chemical or computer engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with mid to large scale control system implementations or equivalent train system simulators.
- Design and implementation of systems using PLCs, microprocessors, SCADA, and DCS systems.
- Modeling of physical systems and experience in control system theory.
- Proficiency in communication, organizational skills, and technical writing.
- Integration of multiple control systems, validation and optimization of control system performance and troubleshooting and diagnostics of complex systems are a plus.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred, but not required for consideration.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
