The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop analytics from multiple cyber sources, creating prototypes to answer new questions and improve existing solutions. Your role involves developing new ways to represent data using data science methods and automating analytic processes with machine learning frameworks. You will work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment, focusing on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and documenting big data cloud computing workflows. This position is 100% onsite in Linthicum, MD with salaries in the 185k-207k range for qualified candidates.
What You'll Bring
- Technical BS and 8 years of relevant experience, OR a MS plus 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Java skills.
- Experience with Customer GHOSTMACHINE analytic development.
- Experience with Hadoop (MapReduce & Accumulo).
- Experience with software configuration using Gitlab, Git, Gitflo, and Nexus.
- Experience with Linux.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some networking knowledge.
- Familiarity with customer corporate tools such as DX.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Formal or informal leadership experience.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
