The work, and what you'll do:
This is a high-impact role requiring skilled Senior Software Engineers to develop and implement advanced solutions to protect critical systems. Successful candidates will be problem-solvers with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and protect sensitive information. Additionally, you’ll provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff while continuously seeking opportunities to optimize cybersecurity processes.
What you'll need:
- BS with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Equivalent work experience may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
- Experience with RESTful services, JavaScript, Bash scripting, Jenkins, Rancher/Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, and data science/machine learning are preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Splunk, GitLab, and Atlassian Jira.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
Location: Work performed onsite in Laurel, MD.
