The work, and what you'll do:
Develop analytics using data from various cyber sources and traditional intelligence through data tagging. Create analytics to generate metrics based on tagging efforts. Build prototypes to address new challenges and improve existing solutions. Collaborate closely with customers in a fast-paced environment. Develop analytics using Java in a Linux environment.
What you'll need:
- BS in Computer Science and 2+ years of experience, or a Masters' degree.
- Software development experience including requirements analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Java, Pig, MapReduce, and Python.
- Experience with distributed NoSQL databases (HBase, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Table).
- Knowledge of Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and related technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Pig).
- Experience with data serialization (JSON, BSON), RESTful services, and source code management.
- Analytic development experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience with front-end technologies (Node.js, Neo4j), familiarity with Maven and Git and knowledge of Apache NiFi are a plus.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
Location: Work performed onsite in Fort Meade, MD.
