The work, and what you'll do:
Unleash your creativity and build amazing digital experiences that make a direct impact on our national security. You'll dive deep into the minds of users, crafting digital experiences that are not just functional, but downright delightful. From understanding user needs to bringing designs to life, you'll be the driving force behind creating products people love. We're seeking a talented UX Engineer to join our client's talented team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for complex software applications.
What you'll need:
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to software and web applications.
- Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience conducting user research and implementing user-centered design methodologies.
- Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and industry standard design tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and project management practices. Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Balsamiq) are highly desired.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
