Our client is a software engineering firm that supports the intelligence community programs.  Their focus is to make a positive impact on National Security by bringing talented, highly-cleared Computer Scientists, Engineers and Analysts to the Intelligence and Defense communities’ most interesting and impactful programs. They are seeking skilled Linux System Administrators for their high-profile mission focused program. 

Successful Linux SysAdmins will have: 
- 5+ years of experience as an administrator in a Linux environment. 
- Hands-on experience with Openstack admin/deploy/upgrades
- Hands-on experience with CEPH admin/deploy/upgrades
- Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Bash, Terraform
- Experience with tools such as Docker/Podman, Packer, Gitlab, Gitlab Runners
- Working knowledge of security related tools: Security Center, Carbon Black, McAfee
- Working knowledge of DISA STIG application to Linux operating systems
- Skilled Tier 3 level support and troubleshooting complex environments


This role is 100% on-site in Herndon, VA. An active Top Secret or above clearance is required to start. If you do not hold a polygraph, you must be willing to sit for a CI Polygraph.  Strong salaries + 100% paid healthcare (including family), 6 weeks PTO/holidays, 8% 401k, and more.
