The Role
Shape the future of user-driven insights! Join our client's team as a Cloud Software Engineer and leverage your expertise to build impactful analytics. You'll create, test, and maintain various Pig and/or PySpark analytics, generating accurate reports that empower users and ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities include:
Design and develop automated analytics with algorithms and techniques.
Create and deploy data-driven, event-driven, and rule-engine-orchestrated analytics.
Capture raw data, normalize it, and ensure accuracy for end users.
Generate custom reports and respond promptly to user needs.
Maintain a comprehensive dictionary of all analytics.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience designing and developing automated analytics.
Expertise in Pig, PySpark, and Piranhas.
Experience documenting data models, schemas, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, Apache NiFi, or Ansible (a plus).
Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud deployments (e.g., MongoDB) (a plus).
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, YOU MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
Location/Telework
Worksite is located in Annapolis Junction, MD. This is a hybrid remote position with 1-2 days/week WFH.
