The role, and what you'll do:
As a Jr. Cloud SWE, you'll design, develop, and maintain cloud software from scratch, encompassing every stage: requirements gathering, coding, deployment, testing, optimization, and troubleshooting. Expertise in NoSQL databases and big data technologies is key.
What you'll need:
- BS and 2+ years' experience in all aspects of software development & engineering
- Proven ability with NoSQL databases like HBase, Accumulo, and BigTable
- Strong software development skills in Java, C, or C++
- 2+ years' experience in software integration & testing (test plans/scripts)
Nice to have:
- Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification, Big data cloud scalability knowledge (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure),
- Web application development with JavaScript, and experience with data flow management & security/compliance tools
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
Location/telework: Location/telework: Annapolis Junction, MD. Telework is mission dependent.
