Our client's program focuses on enterprise software development in support of the in US government's Counter Terrorism mission. Within this program are some of the largest, best known counter terrorism applications in the intelligence community. The program offers the opportunity to work on production applications in a meaningful mission area. These are not science projects that the Government will decide to put on a shelf somewhere – they are used by analysts and users every day to help protect the US from terrorism. The program allows talented, ambitious engineers to take leadership roles to help shape the program and applications. This program has been ongoing, under various names, for over 10 years and funded in its current form through mid-2020: extensions to the current program, followed by a re-compete after 2020, are expected.

They are seeking Java Software Engineers at various levels to join their team on this program.

To be successful here, you'll some of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Java development experience
- Experience with associated technologies such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, and Fisheye)
- Experience with NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, MarkLogic, and Elasticsearch
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with configuration management and DevOps tools (Puppet)
- Experience with Red Hat Linux

The work is located in Herndon, VA and requires a Full-Scope Polygraph.
